Tonight is one of
those nights where everything mundane gets a mental wash of colour.
Art was the order of the day and it always turns me into another me ...
one I wish I could be all the time. I guess I just tune into a
station in my head where art is constantly playing and it lets me
see my world in a different light. I'm not sure I can
explain it ... everything is just sexy & brilliant and jazz can be heard
all the time and you can smell incense ever-so faintly and the wine sits
unopened because it's too cliché and we all wear red shoes and people
love like the hippies did and things that are fancy seem plain while
plain is actually artful just as long as you're seeing it from the same
place I am! Yep.

My Prairie Star,
while I still love it, is taking a bit of a backseat to my new
bedspread,
Crossroads. I'm doing a majorly modified version of it.
These are my first two squares being tested for colour. I need
something that'll match our new pillow shams (rust, olive green & buff).
(I love saying buff.)

Groovy question
from Neicy at the 'Ville ...
"What's outside your
front door?
"
To my immediate
left is a giant Juniper bush that smells ever-so icky! A big part
of it will be coming down this spring.

You can't see 'em
very well, but this is Manservant with our schizophrenic pooch standing
on our road. We're surrounded by a small forest.
Nothing exciting.
Wiarton Willie
saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter. My guess?
The rodent's got a calendar and knows how to read it.
